This artwork was inspired by a trip to Conway, New Hampshire, where we visited lifelong friends and watched our kids float down the Saco River together. There was laughter, of course, but what stayed with me most was the hush of the afternoon — the way the river carried them calmly downstream beneath the New England sky. I wanted this piece to hold that feeling of warmth and ease.
